Choosing Eco-Friendly Interior Design

Home Decor, Interior DesignGoing green has become a common term in almost every area of our lives. So in you interior design, you might want to keep in that spirit and have your small contribution in the preservation of the environment. Here are some ideas on that:

Use as much natural light as possible. Use artificial light only when necessary to minimize emissions into the air

Your designs do not have to be necessarily green, but recycled or recyclable items are very ideal to cut down on waste levels.

If there is any area that needs wood paneling like wall, floor and even wooden furniture, go for
items made from well-managed and legally cut down tress.

Also for interior painting, use paints that have minimal toxins release even when under extreme condition like excessive heat.

Being eco-friendly does not mean being drab but rather mindful of your natural environment.
